Ivan Yeo April 23, 2008
The CSUN Matador baseball team had quite a bit of momentum going into its home series against the Long Beach State Dirtbags this past weekend. Eileen Mansoorian April 23, 2008
After 93 years of fighting for recognition, there still seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. Exactly 93 years ago today, soldiers from the Ottoman Empire were given orders to execute high-ranking males of the Armenian community in Constantinople.

‘Where in the world is Osama bin Laden?’ captures heart

Alyssa Lofgren April 22, 2008
Where in the World is Osama bin Laden?" opens with a tight shot of a positive pregnancy test. When the shot shifts to a pixie-ish blonde, holding a cluster of other positive tests, you might be thinking, "Am I in the wrong theatre? What does this have to do with bin Laden?" Don't worry, you're in the right place - this slightly off-kilter montage is the basis of director Morgan Spurlock's quest to to protect his forthcoming son from one of the biggest dangers in the world, Osama bin Laden.

Romantic comedies a perfect solution to gloomy day

Eileen Mansoorian April 22, 2008
Out of all the genres of films, the one that is near and dear to my heart is the romantic comedy. You get the laugh out loud moments along with the tearjerker scenes that make you wish you were the object of the lead actor's affection. And for those of you who are not a part of the fandom, Dark Horse comics is the publication best known as the independent third option behind big hitters like DC and Marvel.

‘Office’ needs overtime to return to pre-strike excellence

DeShawna Hornbuckle April 22, 2008
The onset of the writer's strike not only found writers seeking out better terms for their contracts but it also left TV viewers scrambling to find replacements for favorite shows that were forced into an indefinite hiatus. NBC's hit "The Office," returned with its first new episode ("The Dinner Party") since the 100-day strike ended back in February.

Snoop Dogg’s ‘Ego Trippin’ shows musical growth

Bejan Siavoshy April 22, 2008
What can I write that will sway your mind away from that disturbingly catchy single that is inescapable from radio stations coast to coast? Yeah, "Sexual Eruption" (or "seduction," depending on what you prefer to sing out loud when your car windows are rolled up) is a hit, and rightfully so.
