Banning Barbie isn’t the answer

Eileen Mansoorian May 7, 2008
She's a doctor, a pilot, and more recently a whimsical island princess. She's also a hazard to little girls. Since her debut to the world in 1959, Barbie has been creating quite a commotion with her unachievable proportions. She has been marketed to little girls as the doll that can do it all: be a doctor and look fabulous while doing it.

For those who dread upcoming birthdays because they think its another year closer to the end of their lives, or those who freak out at the sight of a new wrinkle because they think their face resembles a prune, "Young @Heart" serves as a friendly reminder that just because the body gets old, it doesn't mean the soul has to too.

‘Prom Night’ lacks convincing acting, falls into typical plot

Betsy Garcia May 6, 2008
The most anticipated high school event is prom -the night many social dreams are expected to be fulfilled with friends you have made throughout high school. Prom is also every high school student's final realization that high school is over and that things will never be the same again.

Dylan Miles May 6, 2008
There are certain groups of musicians that never get enough attention or exposure; groups that never have the opportunity to get to the true listeners because of popularity or genre affiliation. Alex G-Smith May 6, 2008
In 1959, Mattel released a doll that gave little girls a standard to what they should think of their bodies and sense of self.
