CSUN’s Food & Nutrition Public Policy Day is an opportunity for students and health-care professionals to learn about current and upcoming health-related legislation and programs, and to encourage and inspire advocacy for policy issues that make a difference. 

This year’s theme, “From Clickbait to Credibility: Professionals Confront Misinformation,” focuses on the critical role of credible communication in advancing public health. We plan on discussing the political climate surrounding nutrition and public health, the new 2025 Dietary Guidelines, social media, advocacy 101, and more.
