The types of Nagado taiko drums they are playing on are Beta, or flat style drums. “Matsuri,” which means “festival” in Japanese, is one of the first songs they teach new members every year. This song is usually played in a swing beat on Naname, or slant style drums, but with so many new members they used Beta instead.
