CSUN students scramble to register for classes
Despite administration adding almost 50 new classes to the Fall 2011 schedule, students continue to face problems enrolling in the classes they need. “There’s an increased demand for classes,” said Cynthia Rawitch, vice provost for academic affairs. “We’ve opened more than 50 sections in the last month, ranging from small classes for majors to large classes for general electives.” CSUN’s vice provost advises students still seeking necessary classes to be flexible and look harder.
