There are seven key factors to catching an employer’s attention when applying for a job. Dr. G. Jay Christensen, CSUN management professor emeritus, said the difference between applying for a job and obtaining an interview rests on an individual’s resume. “The job market is tough, and employers are being inundated with resumes,” Christensen said. “The problem with this is in the timing.  Most resumes are only given about a minute of time each. Teenage Drama Workshop receives award

CSUN’s Teenage Drama Workshop has won an award for cultivating  theatre programs at local high schools for budding theatre majors. The California Educational Theatre Association (CETA) awarded CSUN’s Teenage Drama Workshop (TADW) with the Professional Artist Award at their annual conference in Long Beach, earlier this month. Academic Blog helps students and faculty learn about technology on campus

After almost two years of planning, CSUN’s information technology department has launched the Academic Technology Blog, a site for faculty, students, staff and university alumni.
