Forplay Lingerie, owned by CSUN alumnus Houman Salen, hosted its second fashion show at Fa?ade in Hollywood on Wednesday night. Prior to the show, the backstage area was filled with excited models. Some were getting dressed while others were waiting for their hair and make-up to be prepared.
After graduating with a business degree, Salen had the opportunity to purchase Forplay Lingerie. His cousin, Sheila, who works for him as the runway choreographer, said the company was about to go under but because of Salen’s business skills, he brought the company to new heights.
This event was the second fashion show for Forplay. The first show was in October to show off the company’s costumes. Wednesday’s show at Fa?ade marked Sheila’s first time choreographing for Forplay, but she did not seem worried.
“(The Halloween show) went really well! Because of t hat I’m sure that this show will be very successful,” Sheila said.
Although the line seems to be a little revealing, the models said that the clothing was very comfortable and affordable. The Forplay store is located in Hollywood.
