“Tuesday Talks” in the Pride Center
The Pride Center, located on the second floor of the University Student Union, Sol Center, invites students to its weekly event, “Tuesday Talks,” which will cover an array of topics, including gender identity, bisexuality, coming out and other issues that relate to the LGBTQ community. The event is free of charge and will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

San Fernando Valley Award for Nonfiction Reception
CSUN will host the San Fernando Valley Award for Nonfiction Reception in honor of Martin Cooper, author of Read All About It! The Valley Times: 1946 – 1970. The event will take place at the Orange Grove Bistro at 4 p.m. and is free of charge. Please register for the event online.

Summer Movie Fest – Inside Out
The university will hold a free movie night on the Oviatt Lawn in front of the library, where it will feature the movie Inside Out, a film that follows young Riley and her emotions – Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness – in San Francisco. The 95-minute event will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Get CPR, AED and First Aid Certified in One Day at the SRC
For $45 CSUN students can take classes to get certified in CPR, AED and First Aid. This opportunity will be held from 9 to 4 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center and required those interested to register online.
