New York City is considered one of the greatest cities in the world. It’s population of over 22 million in the New York metropolitan area also makes it one of the largest urban cities in the world.
In 2005, there were over 170 different languages that were being spoken in the city. There are five major boroughs that comprise New York City; Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
