On Tuesday, Sept. 15, a car traveling at a high rate of speed struck a Metro bus on the Corner of Nordhoff Street and De Soto Avenue in Chatsworth, killing 2 people. While covering that accident, NBC’s “Newschopper 4” experienced what appeared to be (but unconfirmed) mechanical failure, crashing just a few blocks away… Killing both people onboard and a third pedestrian on the ground. A last minute vigil was held on Thursday evening at St. John Eudes Catholic Church for all five people who died that day.
