“Beauty and the Beast”
Suggested Retail: $29.99 two-disc DVD / $39.99 Blu-ray
One of Disney’s most celebrated animated films reappears on DVD since its original release in 2002. This Academy Award nominee for Best Picture of 1991 is being re-released on DVD in a two-disc standard edition and initially on Blu-ray as a Disney Diamond Edition that includes the film’s DVD and Blu-ray editions.
“Grindhouse”
Suggested Retail: $34.99 Special Edition Blu-ray
“Grindhouse” (2007), a double feature exploitation film, consists of two films: “Planet Terror” and “Death Proof.” Directed by Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino, respectively, the dauntless duo produced this flick in throwback style to resemble classic ‘70s B-movies. This edition of “Grindhouse” is being issued in a two-disc DVD/Blu-ray special edition to attain the original theater experience, with all the faux trailers included.
“The Human Centipede (The First Sequence)”
Suggested Retail: $24.98/$29.98
This Dutch horror film depicts a deranged German director who kidnaps three tourists and surgically joins them together to create a “human centipede.” A creative, compelling horror film, it’s a must see for all shock and terror aficionados. Enjoy “The First Sequence” Unrated Director’s Cut.

“Predators”
Suggested Retail: $29.99/$39.99
Academy Award winner Adrien Brody stars as Royce, who awakens in a jungle along with several others—all lethal killers except a doctor named Edwin (Topher Grace). The killers include a member of the Mexican cartel (Danny Trejo), a Spetsnaz soldier, an Israeli sniper, a revolutionary, a death row inmate, and a Japanese Yakuza. Are they just game to be hunted on a mysterious planet? The group meets Noland (Laurence Fishburne), a soldier who survived by staying hidden. Watch as they fight for their lives on a predator planet.

“The Girl Who Played with Fire”

Noomi Rapace reprises her role as Lisbeth Salander in Swedish author Stieg Larsson’s (second film of) The Millennium Trilogy. After studying abroad, Salander returns to Sweden under suspicion that she has committed multiple murders. Can she clear her name? The last film in the trilogy, “The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest,” will be theatrically released Oct. 29 in limited release.
