The preliminary hearing for the five defendants in the Blake Anthony Crawford murder trial has been rescheduled for March 30 at San Fernando Superior Court House.
The hearing was originally scheduled for Feb. 21 but was postponed.
At the Feb. 21 rescheduling hearing, presiding Judge Cynthia Ulfig ordered medical records from the Northridge Hospital released to the defense attorneys for the five defendants.
The defendants are charged in connection with the death of Crawford, a 20-year-old CSUN management major who was shot in the head in his Northridge apartment Jan. 15.
The five suspects, Albert Adams, 27, of Canoga Park, Vincent Soloman, 32, of Van Nuys, Christopher Garner, 30, also of Van Nuys, Rafael Lopez, 25, of Sun Valley, Marriano Cabaong, 24, of Woodland Hills are each charged with single counts of murder, robbery and burglary.
Suspect Albert Adams is charged with an additional charge of felony possession of a firearm.
The defendants have pled not guilty on all charges. Bail was set at $1,000,000 for Cabaong and Lopez respectively. No bail was set for Adams, Solomon and Garner.
The mother and two aunts of Crawford were present at the hearing.
