I came across a joke on the internet about a man in Central Park who saves a girl from a pit-bull attack.
A policeman who was watching the scene walks over and says, “You are a hero, tomorrow you can read it in all the newspapers, ‘Brave New Yorker saves the life of little girl!'”
The man says, “But I am not a New Yorker!”
“Oh, then it will say in newspapers in the morning, ‘Brave American saves life of little girl!'” the policeman answers.
“But I am not an American!” says the man.
“Oh, what are you then?” the policeman asks.
The man says, “I am a Pakistani!”
The next day the newspapers say, “Islamic extremist kills innocent American dog.”
Funny? But is it still funny when you are the gentleman who gets arrested because you are proud to say that you are from Pakistan? Not funny anymore, is it? In fact, it becomes a bit scary.
Understand one thing: Just because there is one bad seed in the crop, does not mean that the entire crop has gone bad.
