The CSUN women’s soccer team returns home Tuesday, Sept. 12 for a match-up against the University of Idaho Vandals at Matador Soccer Field.
The Matadors, returning from a five-game road trip, come into the match-up with a 3-3 record on the season and will hope to add a fourth win against a winless Vandals team.
The Matadors have had minor struggles in the shot attempts-to-goals ratio, scoring only 6 goals on 87 attempts. The Matadors have managed to spread out their offense with six different players scoring their goals.
The Vandals have struggled in their first six games of the season as they have yet to score a goal. The Vandals have had 35 shot attempts with no connections. Idaho’s defense has struggled as much as the offense. They have given up 25 goals on 118 shot attempts.
The Matadors, who have shut out two teams this season, hope to continue the Vandals’ woes.
