A memorial will be held tonight at 6 p.m. at’ CSUN’s Chabad House for the
victims of the attacks in Mumbai that included Chabad Rabbi Gavriel
Holtzberg and his wife, Rivka, said Rabbi Chaim Brook, co-director of CSUN
Chabad.’ The event is open to the public, he said.
‘The tragedy in Mumbai has affected people across the world, including many
here at CSUN.’ Amongst those brutally murdered was a dear colleague of mine
and a long-time friend and classmate,’ Brook said in an e-mail.
The couple directed the Chabad House in Mumbai, said Brook.’ The couple’s
2-year-old son, Moshe, survived the attacks, Associated Press reported.
The Chabad House is located at 17833 Prairie Street in Northridge.
