The cookies for college students

There is a cookie company for students with a sweet tooth who have spare change in their pockets or backpacks and are looking to get rid of it.

What if I told you that you can have a freshly baked cookie right out of the oven for less than a dollar, or that you could get three freshly baked cookies for exactly a dollar? For one more dollar you could get six cookies baked right out of the oven without being charged a tax or having to give a tip.

When Diddy Riese Cookies opened their doors in 1983 it made sure to sell the best cookies in town at a very low price.’ Located in Westwood, right down the street from UCLA, Diddy Riese Cookies has never had a line that wasn’t coming out the door and continuing around the corner.

Diddy Riese Cookies are known for their wide variety of freshly baked cookies from chocolate chip with walnuts, white chocolate macadamia nut, peanut butter, double chocolate with nuts, oatmeal raisin, chocolate with white chocolate chip, sugar cinnamon and of course the original chocolate chip.

Diddy Riese is also known for its custom made ice cream sandwiches where a customer can choose any two cookies they want and put the choice of their favorite ice cream in the middle, and all it would cost is $1.50.’

Diddy Riese provides Dreyers premium ice cream with flavors ranging from vanilla bean, to espresso chip to strawberry cheesecake chunk.

Those not in the mood for’ cookies and ice cream can opt to get brownies at the same price.’ Diddy Riese even offers to put Hawaiian shaved ice on top of a customer’s favorite ice cream.

For the student who doesn’t like dessert, the store even has hot dogs.

With its great location, Diddy Riese seems to remain busy at all hours of the day, especially around lunch time when students or young professionals are on their break.

Everyone has fallen in love with the local store that has almost become a tradition and a part Westwood Village community. Parking should never be a hassle because it’s free for up to two hours in a lot located right down the street on Broxton Avenue.

I’ve been going to Diddy Riese Cookies for about three years now and from the first cookie I had to the most recent one, this small treat has tasted exactly the same, still delicious as if it were right out of the oven.

College students on a budget will never feel as if they are being robbed of their money because the quality and quantity of the cookies and ice cream is off the charts.’ No other cookie or ice cream shop can compare to what Diddy Riese sells.’ Other cookie companies such as Mrs. Fields charge up to $3 or $4 for three cookies.’ A dozen may cost well over $10 to $15 plus tax.’ But at Diddy Riese, a dozen cookies cost only $3.75.

Diddy Riese also caters so if customers have large orders they can just call in and request the amount of cookies needed and the store will be sure to have it ready at the earliest convenience.
