We are near the end of the spring semester. What will you remember about your classes? What would you rather forget? Whether you were studious and pulling all-nighters, truant or heavily involved in extracurricular activities, one thing’s for sure, we could all use a drink.

 

Teacher’s Pet

This drink proves that a teacher’s pet can take many forms! Put your hand down, there’s no need to ask any more questions. Just wrap your lips around this refreshing cocktail. Don’t worry, you can rate your professors at another time.

Ingredients:

2 Splashes of Bitters

1.5 oz. Whiskey

.5 oz. Dry Vermouth

1 tsp. Sweet Vermouth

 

Directions:

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass

Garnish with mint leaves

 

Gold Star

After a semester of being top of your class, it’s okay to let loose with friends and find yourselves at the bottom of the glass. If you’re still standing by the end of the semester, you deserve a Gold Star!

Ingredients:

1 oz. Gin

.5 oz. Cointreau

1 oz. Orange juice

1 oz. Pineapple juice

 

Directions:

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled glass

 

All-Nighter

This is an all-nighter that you won’t dread. Get your creative juices flowing by mixing yourself one of these! Writing a 15 page paper has never been this fun!

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. Raspberry rum

.5 oz Sour Apple pucker

1.5 oz Energy drink 

.75 oz Pomegranate juice

 

Directions:

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled glass

The Graduate

Congratulations class of 2013! The stress of college is finally over! You have 90 days to figure out a job and living situation before you start repaying your loans… If that thought doesn’t give you incentive to go out on the town for a drink or two, I don’t know what will!

 

Ingredients:

.5 oz. Amaretto

1.5 oz. Southern comfort

1 oz. Pineapple juice

 

Directions:

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled glass

Dirty School Boy & Naughty School Girl (Shots)

 

College students de-stress in many different ways. That said, feel free to get down and dirty with these shots. You can also add whip cream, rim with sugar or take body shots.

.75 oz Malibu Coconut Rum

.75 oz Smirnoff Blueberry Vodka

.75 oz Pineapple juice

.75 oz Captain Morgan Mango Rum

.75 oz Smirnoff Melon Vodka

.75 oz Pineapple juice
