Mayor Eric Garcetti’s proposal to increase minimum wage in Los Angeles is receiving a lot of opposition from local businesses. Many employers, especially small businesses, say the consequences of this will not be beneficial to our city. California’s minimum wage is currently nine dollars per hour and will increase to ten January First, 2016.
