Protesters and counter-protesters clashed outside a Home Depot in Alhambra June 18.
Around 30 protesters from Ventura County-based Save Our State rallied against the Home Depot and the undocumented day laborers that typically position themselves near the store’s parking lot.
A group of counter-protesters showed up, eventually outnumbering the original Save Our State group.
Save Our State has held similar protests in Baldwin Park over the past month because of a public art display the group objects to. Similar counter-protests have been organized in Baldwin Park.
