NASA scientists recently announced that they have located evidence of liquid water on the surface of Mars, and with this discovery comes new possibilities for the future of space exploration. On Point reports with JPL mechanical engineering intern and CSUN student Vladimir Arutyunov, and CSUN Department of Biology professor Dr. Rachel Mackelprang, who has just been awarded a $1.3 million grant from NASA to look for connections between life in Earth’s frozen soil and the possibility of extraterrestrial life.
