Sophmore psychology major Caroline Jones, 19 and senior geography major Minda Greenberg, 22, are married in a mock ceremony presided by minister Vania Ellison, secretary of the LGBTA Club, in opposition to Prop. 8, on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

Conductor Dr. Lawrence Stoffel leads the CSUN Wind Ensemble in the 'That Was Then: Looking Back at the Past 50 Years of Band Music' performance at the Plaza del Sol performance hall on Oct. 7. Their next performance will be on Nov. 14. Students taking music course 179B and 379B practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students wishing to take the course and join the ensemble must first audition.

Beginning at 9:11 a.m. on Sept. 11, Chabad of CSUN held the third Mitzvah Marathon on campus in front of the Matador bookstore.

Items were pulled out of the CSUN time capsule on Aug. 20 marking the time capsule's 25th anniversary on the campus soil. President Jolene Koester (left) took out items such as a 1983 TV Guide, a catalog, a banner, a survey, and messages from donors. Old newspapers and magazines were pulled from a time capsule placed at the campus.
