It has been questioned in recent times whether the spirit of peace and protest has really left our democratic American society. CSUN's campus has more recently become alive with peaceful political participation. This is displayed with CSUN's theater department's presentation of the musical "Hair.

CSUN's latest production, "Alice Devised" is a success. This haunting tale depicts the life and struggles of how three young Alices search for their voices in a stifling world. Each Alice represents her world in her respective way, but each Alice is also identifiable to an everyday person's struggle to get by in this chaotic world.

The CSUN theater department produces exciting plays every year. Some productions you may love and some you may hate, but this is part of the theater-going experience. The next show that CSUN will produce is a low-budget but highly fanciful production called "Alice Devised.
