The first amendment is supposed to protect the freedom of speech. Some are still conversing about talk show host Don Imus and his statement when he called members of the Rutgers women's basketball team "nappy-headed hos." So who cares why does everyone keep on talking about it.

CSUN hired 56 new faculty during summer

The new school year has started at California State University Northridge, and with new students come new faculty. During the summer, 56 new faculty were recruited to teach at the university. Of these new tenure track faculty, 54 started this fall. One new instructor will begin in the spring and another in Fall 2007.

Is there a comparison between 9/11 Hurricane Katrina?

Hurricane Katrina and the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks should never be forgotten, nor should the victims of both these tragedies. People should not compare Hurricane Katrina with 9/11 but they do. Some say that Hurricane Katrina was the Department of Homeland Security's first test since the Sept.
