The CSUN men’s soccer team conceded late to draw

The CSUN men’s soccer team conceded late to draw with the Highlanders of UC Riverside in their Big West opener, and drew 1-1 at Matador Soccer Field.

There was back-and-forth action from both sides as the Matadors (2-3-4, 0-0-1).

In the building across from the Student Recreation

In the building across from the Student Recreation Center (SRC), the Games Room can be found. There are a variety of games available for students to enjoy, and many seats and couches for them to sit and relax.

On Oct. 3, the Game Room hosted a “Rocket League” singles tournament, where anybody could sign up and participate.

Students for Justice in Palestine at CSUN held “The People’s Trial” event today from 1:30 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. at Matador Square. Members of SJP gave speeches during the event and students were given white roses to place on the Matador Statue, honoring those who have been killed.

The 2024 MLS SuperDraft has now passed, and with i

The 2024 MLS SuperDraft has now passed, and with it, the Matadors have gained a new member in a small group. Jamar Ricketts, who was drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes, now joins three other players to be drafted to the MLS.

At CSUN, he earned numerous accolades. He received two first-team all-Big West selections and despite being a defender, scored 16 goals and provided 10 assists over three seasons with Matadors.
