Summer kite exhibit flies in Oviatt lobby

A myriad of colored kites hanging from the ceiling under a dimly lit lobby have become the main attraction in the Oviatt Library. The "Art In the Sky" exhibit, which has been on display since June 13, has come back by popular demand since its first viewing last summer.

Multi-level public safety facility opens

The new public safety building officially opened its doors to the public Tuesday in an open house and dedication ceremony which featured a posting of colors, speeches by top university figures, and tours of the facilities. Previously, the public safety department was headquartered in CSUN's residential housing.

New top assistant coach for women’s team

In an effort to improve for next season, the Matador women's basketball team has added Abby Vaughan as an assistant coach. Vaughan, originally from San Diego, comes to CSUN from San Jose State where she was the top assistant coach during the 2006-07 season.

Mayor plans to conserve water
