Braswell and Tresvant denied charge reduction and face felony charges

San Fernando Superior Court Judge Sanjay Kumar ruled that CSUN students Jeffrey Braswell and Deon Tresvant's felony charges would not be reduced to misdemeanors.
After lawyers presented arguments to decrease their charges, the two hung their heads as the judge denied the motion.

Mohammed Hajezi, a 13-year-old Palestinian boy, dropped out of second grade to help support his family living in Gaza City.' He was a main voice in the documentary 'Gaza Strip' by James Longley, released in 2002 shown at the Glendale Central Library Sunday.
Hajezi sells newspapers and on his spare time with a group of friends throws rocks or broken-off pieces of concrete at the Israeli side, often under gunfire. Many children have died this way.

Reading yesterday's Daily Sundial article about' the elections in El Salvador I came across an article which struck my mind as heavily 'influenced' towards a reality which would be nice if it were true yet sadly isn't. Your article portrayed the FMLN's victory in El Salvador as a great change for El Salvador and as exactly that what the country wanted.

Elections Complaint

After investigating a complaint from an independent A.S senate candidate, the A.S election committee voted to allow students of the Conscious Students United For Northridge (C.S.U.N) slate to continue using the acronym for their campaign material.
Graduate studies senate candidate Dan Monteleone lodged a formal complaint suggesting that C.S.U.N had violated two articles of the election code in regards to good sense and taste.

Mels like an MVP

It was CSUN guard Rodrigue Mels' turn at the practice-ending half-court shooting drill Wednesday morning at the Sprint Center. With an approximate 100 March Madness fanatics having made their way to the Kansas City arena to watch him shoot a 40-footer, Mels measured the distance carefully and let a prayer fly.
