Venerable Pomnyun Sunim, winner of the 2002 Ramon Magsaysay award for Peace and International Understanding and the 2020 Niwano Peace Prize (for advocating peace with the North Korean people and sustainable development initiatives in Bhutan, North Korea, India, Philippines, and Indonesia), will be hosting a Dharma talk on how a person can handle difficult situations they face in life using the Buddha’s teachings at the Orchard Conference Center on Cal State University Northridge campus. Audience members may bring questions they would like to discuss with Venerable Pomnyun.
