CSUN Sustainability Day!
October 24, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Join us for our Annual Sustainability Day event, in partnership with Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) to learn more about energy and transportation at CSUN and in our community
This day marks the annual celebration of sustainability in higher education. Every October, colleges and universities create events to recognize the achievements of, and challenges for, the tens of thousands of students, faculty, and staff working to instill sustainability principles in higher education institutions and their surrounding communities. This Event will host Guest Speakers and CSUN Sustainability Leaders who will present and discuss important issues surrounding sustainable transportation. This event will be addressing Successful Strategies for Addressing Energy and Transportation Issues in Disadvantaged Communities.
Attendees can choose to attend single sessions, which will be scheduled to align with class periods, in the University Student Union Northridge Center. We encourage faculty members to bring their classes, offer students extra credit for attending sessions, and inform students know about this event. This event is FREE to all students, so make sure to spread the word and bring along your classmates and friends!
