Digital Detox: Zine Making Session

February 2 @ 11:00 am - 6:30 pm

Bring the power of zines to your assignments!
Join the Library on February 2nd for: A Digital Detox: Hands-on Analog Zine Making Session with Lisa Bishop. Morning and afternoon sessions are available (11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.), and all materials will be provided!

This workshop is about creativity and wellness without digital devices. Lisa Bishop sets up the “why” we make zines: to inspire creativity, wellness, advocacy, knowledge sharing and so much more. Research about the health benefits of zining will also be presented. Participants will go away with a minimum of: 1 common 8-page single sheet foldable zine, a collective zine, a few copyable templates for the future, and a resource page.
