Dr. P Blake Cooper will be presenting a faculty recital for CSUN OcTubaFest 2025. Joining Dr. Cooper for will this performance: Katie Eames on Piano and CSUN’s own Dillon MacIntyre on Trombone.
Dr. Cooper is an accomplished LA recording artist for Film, TV, video games and record dates. He serves as Principal Tuba with the New West Symphony and is a regular substitute musician with orchestras such as the LA Phil, LA Opera, San Diego Symphony, and many more. This years OcTubaFest faculty recital will feature works by Szentpali, Redden, Koetsier, Meador, Nickens and Nishimura.
