“Infernal Love: Chopin and George Sand”

It’s hard to imagine two more different people than Chopin and George Sand: a frail and sensitive genius, and an emancipated, determined woman dressed in men’s clothing, never without a cigar in her mouth. Can one of France’s most talented and controversial writers find love with the great Polish romantic? Will their feelings turn into love or hate?

You will have the chance to peek into Paris and see Chopin, who has just met George Sand, and hear the beloved compositions of the Polish genius.

Program includes Chopin mazurkas, preludes, nocturnes and a scherzo.
