  Weekly lectures, security news, workshops, and hands-on labs.

• Saturday Training – Every Saturday, 12:00 AM – 5:00PM – JD 1602 (Lab)
  Focused Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC) team training — open to all members who want to learn enterprise security skills.

Layer 8’s mission is to educate today for a more secure tomorrow. We bring students together for hands-on labs, Defense Competitions, Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, and real-world defense training. Additionally, many of our members share passions for Linux, Networking, and systems administration, making Layer 8 a great place for students interested in the broader world of IT and infrastructure.
