Come learn about roller derby and why it has been described as a “revolutionary sport.” In this interactive presentation with game footage, Outreach Librarian Brianna Limas (aka Miss Information, #411) will be joined by friends from RebelTown Rollers and Valley Community Rollers to share experiences and insights from the flat-track. Discussion topics will include building a recreational sports league, community building, feminism and gender, borderless leagues, body acceptance, and more. Light refreshments will be served and coloring activity will be available.
