Join us for a special screening of Radiate, a powerful new docuseries sharing Black student stories of support, growth and community.

On Thursday, May 7 Black Scholars Matter will host a screening of Radiate: Black Excellence Unveiled, the first season of its new docuseries, at Armer Theater in Manzanita Hall.

The 7-episode series highlights the lived experiences of Black Scholars Matter students and explores the role of holistic support, belonging, and community throughout their college journey. The screening will also feature a student panel Q&A, and refreshments will be served.

About Black Scholars Matter

Black Scholars Matter (BSM), a transformative, merit and financial-based college program aimed toward scholars of all backgrounds who support and embrace the Black experience at CSUN, with the goal of cultivating Black excellence by connecting students to essential resources, providing education, a holistic eco-system of support, and promoting service to the community. We aim to enhance the pipeline of college-going students who are committed to advancing their academics, social equity, and Black culture at CSUN. The BSM program is open and available to all who are interested in applying regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin.
