Final Girl

By Judith Klapper

Taylor Zagnoli is a senior in the Communications Department at CSUN. Last semester he read the poem “Final Girl,” and he found he could not let go of it when he got to the end. He later did a performance piece based on the poem that deals with female characterizations in pop genre, particularly in horror films. But still, the imagery stayed with him and was finally exorcized with his adaptation of the poem into a one-act play that was performed at CSUN on November 16-18.
