The men’s basketball team gave No. 3 Memphis all it could handle Thursday morning at the Spring Center but ultimately lost 81-70 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The mood around the Matador locker room was that of accomplishment.

Affordable education was the focal point at the A.S. presidential debate on Wednesday as candidates vying for the presidential and vice presidential seat met to solidify why their slate is best suited to govern the student body.

After investigating a complaint from an independent A.S senate candidate, the A.S election committee voted to allow students of the Conscious Students United For Northridge (C.S.U.N) slate to continue using the acronym for their campaign material.
Graduate studies senate candidate Dan Monteleone lodged a formal complaint suggesting that C.S.U.N had violated two articles of the election code in regards to good sense and taste.
