The Talk Turkey Exhibit

By Lidya Muñoz & Amber Starling

Professor Edie Pistolesi and other faculty members of the art education department is bringing us Talk Turkey, which is an exhibit that focuses on making students more aware of the problems our society is facing now. Students of the art education department were asked to confront social, political, and economical issues that we are facing now and turn it into a work of art. Students created artworks based on the symbol of the turkey such as the hand displayed on the wall and CSUN’s mascot Matty the matador which was the main focus of Professor Pistolesi class.
