CSUN baseball: Stellar offense prevails over Albany

The Cal State Northridge baseball team concluded its non-conference schedule on Monday after cruising by the University at Albany 10-2 at Matador field. The Matadors were led by junior infielder Justin DeMarco, who went 3-for-4 with two home runs. Also DeMarco drove in three RBI’s and junior first baseman Dominc D’Anna chipped in two RBI’s. Matadors take two from Hornets

Despite having their five-game winning streak snapped on Friday, the Matadors (16-7) took two of three games against Sacramento State (7-13-1) at Matador Field. The Matador offense continued their stellar play, as they were able to put up 36 runs in the three-game series. Presidential candidate withdraws from race

A.S. presidential candidate, Amanda Lynch, and her running mate, Mackenzie Evans, have withdrawn from the presidential race, leaving students with one option in this year’s A.S. elections. “Ideally you always want two more candidates running and for whatever reason she dropped out at the last moment,” said A.S.
