Beloved CSUN custodian remembered

Daniel MacDonald, 61, a lead custodian at CSUN died Thursday, April 29 on campus. MacDonald, a Reseda resident, was born on March 30, 1949 in Hollywood, Calif. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Bolo, son, Jeremy MacDonald and sister, Cheryl Wolff. MacDonald, also known as “The Big Blue Teddy Bear,” attended Reseda High School and L.A. Valley College. Model UN team receives awards

CSUN’s Model United Nations team walked away with the Outstanding Delegation and Outstanding Research award for representing Singapore at the National Model United Nations conference held at the UN Headquarters in New York City. KCSN holds pledge drive for new format

In an effort to raise money for the radio station, KCSN will be hosting its first pledge drive since changing to a new Triple A format in March. “We are a non-commercial public radio station and we look to our listeners to become members to help support the station,” said Karen Kearns, KCSN interim general manager and associate dean of the Mike Curb College.     Rachel G. Blavin, 23, graduated in the summer of 2007 with a major in CTVA. Blavin and her team were awarded the first place award in the Children’s category for the short-film “Turbo” at the 31st Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Television Awards.
