HP Releases New Computer Tablet

Hewlett-Packard has released a touch-screen computer tablet that runs on Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system on Friday. HP is the latest computer maker to step up their game after the release of Apple’s iPad in April. Dubbed the “Slate 500,” the tablet costs $799 on the HP website, which is more expensive than most iPads. iPad prices range from $499 to $829, depending on wireless connectivity and storage space.
