Questions for second Presidents’ Town Hall Meeting

Senate members of A.S. provided the additional questions and concerns of their constituents Tuesday to be addressed before CSUN President Jolene Koester at the second Presidents’ Town Hall Meeting. Water leak shuts down heating system on campus

A water main leak  affecting the entire campus heating system was discovered Tuesday. Lynn Wiegers, executive director for physical plant management (PPM), said there will not be any heat in the buildings and no hot water in the Sierra Hall restrooms. Wiegers said the leak started a couple of weeks ago, but PPM had trouble locating it because the water had not yet come. A.S. vice president challenges senators to participate in food, clothing drive

The introduction of the 2nd Annual CSUN Campus Clothing and Food Drive sparked a friendly competition between Senate members Tuesday as the A.S. vice president challenged them to get involved in the cause. Neil Sanchez said he wanted A.S. student leadership entities, which consist of the Senate, various executive committees, finance, elections, and the SPACE board, to run the location with the most food and clothing donations on campus. VPAC line up to be announced, theatre department to be included

The performance lineup for the new Valley Performing Arts Center (VPAC) will be announced Thursday. Performances for the new VPAC are set to cover a wide range of styles, further demonstrating the versatility of the new space. Senators Boxer, Feinstein to rally at CSUN

California Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein will make a campaign stop at CSUN Friday afternoon in the USU’s Grand Salon. The event, will be hosted by CSUN’s Young Democrats.
