Research conducted by CSUN professor shows voters are influenced by ballot location

A study shows that polling stations, where citizens are assigned to go vote during election season, are not as neutral as the public believes them to be. Teenage Drama Workshop receives award

CSUN’s Teenage Drama Workshop has won an award for cultivating  theatre programs at local high schools for budding theatre majors. The California Educational Theatre Association (CETA) awarded CSUN’s Teenage Drama Workshop (TADW) with the Professional Artist Award at their annual conference in Long Beach, earlier this month. Maureen Rubin is the new associate dean of Mike Curb College of Arts, Media and Communication

Four-car collision disrupts traffic

A four-car crash outside of campus left one injured, three startled and a traffic nightmare at the intersection of Nordhoff Street and Etiwanda Avenue Monday afternoon. CSUNFlowers preschool program curriculum focuses on early development communication skills

Tucked away in a brick building near the Orange Grove, a group of toddlers sit in a circle and begin the day by singing songs. They are part of the CSUNFlowers preschool program, which is run by CSUN’s Speech, Language, and Hearing Center. They meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m in Monterey Hall. Marilyn Magaram Center uses Moodle to promote nutrition and community events

It is now easier for students to learn about upcoming events at CSUN’s Marilyn Magaram Center. The center has established a Moodle website to keep in contact with students and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program participants, said Jenna Jackson, project manager for the center.
