The CSUN softball team lost the series finale against UC Riverside on Sunday, 6-3, in 11 innings at Matador Diamond. UCR’s Brittany Keeney blasted a three-run shot for the go ahead runs in the top of the 11th inning. The Matadors could not come back again after tying the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the 10th inning. Mikayla Thielges went 3-for-5 with two RBIs in the loss and now has 45 RBIs, which is tied for the sixth-most in school history for a single season.
