Student Showcase preview

Auditions for the 10th annual student showcase will be held this Monday, September 19 and Wednesday, September 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Grand Salon, University Student Union (USU). “Auditions are completely open to every student and we want as many students as possible.” said Kevin Castech, USU Events Assistant. “We want the competition to be really high.” The judges for the showcase are still being figured out, but Castech and his committee will be the deciders… Read more

CSUN student aspires to make a difference in kids’ lives

After graduation, Elsa Tejeda sees herself 3,000 miles away in New York City where she plans to take her passion for teaching elementary students with autism. The junior, child and adolescent development major, believes that special needs children need a lot of visual work and undivided attention to help them learn better.
