Forum brings awareness to human trafficking

Human trafficking was the center of discussion in a forum that sprung from last semester’s sex tourism controversy. Community comes together to help CSUN students who lost their home in a fire

Fundraising begins for displaced CSUN students who lost everything in a fire that began in their backyard. The house on the 17,000 block of Elkwood Street once served as a home for five Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity brothers. The lecture, “Sexual Abuse, Cover-Up, and the History of the Catholic Church” was held in Sierra Hall’s Whitsett Room Thursday night. Student collapses inside Subway in the USU

At approximately 1:32 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 09, 2010, the CSUN Department of Police Services was contacted about a student who fainted while at Subway in the University Student Union (USU). Police officers and paramedics arrived shortly at the site to assist the student. Since the incident was a medical emergency, further information is not available.
