NAACP helps to heal Haiti

Slave rebellion database created

The Pan African Studies Department at CSUN has launched a Slave Rebellion Database on its Web site that comprises a collection of documents and data relating to slave populations and slave rebellions in the United States. CTVA department receives $1 million endowment and scholarship fund from an anonymous donor

The Cinema and Television Arts (CTVA) department has received an anonymous $1 million donation and scholarship fund to honor an alumnus. Students encouraged to register bicycles

The University Police Department wants students to register their bicycles with the Bicycle Registration Program. The Bicycle Registration Program allows the CSUN community to register their bicycle for free. FAFSA undergoes changes to encourage students to apply for financial aid

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) has undergone changes approved by the federal government to simplify the process of filling the application. New Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy to reduce financial aid

CSUN President Jolene Koester has approved a change in a financial policy that will prevent students with more than 150 attempted units from receiving financial aid in the fall semester.
