CFA plans bargaining strategy, share hopes

The California Faculty Association members discussed contract bargaining and the CSU 2006-07 budget at the University Club Feb. 22. James David Ballard, president of the CFA’s CSUN Chapter, presented the teachers union’s barganing points to a packed room of about 30 to 50 professors.

CSUN student dies after car crash

Amy Catherine Rebman, graduate communications student, died at the age of 22 on Feb. 8. A tragic car accident in Burbank claimed her life last week. She was born on April 24, 1983. Rebman left behind her parents, Brian and Denise; her sister, Sara; her grandparents, Bruce Rebman and Muriel Granier; along with many other family and friends.

CSUN Music plans a season worth experiencing

Daily Sundial Musical performances on campus are a great chance to explore part of what this school has to offer. Just a walking distance away from the Matador Bookstore is Cypress Hall, where buildings are alive with music. This spring semester, the CSUN Music Department will be putting on an array of concert series and special events that appeals to every audience.
