Students at Long Beach, SDSU tested for swine flu

A Cal State Long Beach student received a ‘probable positive’ test result for swine flu.
The Long Beach Health Department informed the university of the affected student late Tuesday, and early Wednesday morning CSULB Beach President F. King Alexander sent a campus-wide e-mail with information about the student, symptoms of swine flu and a hotline for anyone to call if they have any questions specific to swine flu.

Matadors look to keep streaking in Fullerton

The Cal State Northridge softball team (27-17, 7-8 Big West) showed signs of life last weekend when they swept UC Riverside, but this weekend they will face an even harder opponent as they head to Orange County to face Cal State Fullerton (23-19, 11-4) in a three-game series.

The clock was ticking down on the 2009 NFL draft.’ Fans, coaches, owners, players and even scouts were anxiously waiting for the action to begin.’ As the picks started coming in, everything seemed to be going as expected. Then, it was time for pick No. 7. The owners were the Oakland Raiders.
