Electronic waiting list for students adding classes soon to come

CSUN is the only CSU that does not have an electronic wait list for students wishing to add classes, but this will soon change. Community colleges not impervious to budget cuts

In February, the revised California budget projects were released showing that community colleges will take another $149 million reduction. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program aids low-income individuals

Free tax returns for low-income students and residents of the San Fernando Valley area are available through a student-run program at CSUN. CSUN’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is designed to provide timely and relevant federal and state information to low-income individuals, senior citizens, non-English speakers and the disabled. Traditional backpacking trip leads to helping orphans in Cambodia

Her first trip to Southeast Asia in 2009 had been planned as a typical college backpacking trip, but it would eventually alter the course of CSUN communications major Rona Attia’s life.
