CSUN women’s tennis lost their Big West Conference season opener to Long Beach State by a score of 6-1. Singles player Kristen Poei, junior, earned the only match point for Northridge.

Junior Mickey Hsu also played well, but lost her match in a tiebreaker to Maeva Razakasoa.

The lady Matadors next match is against UCLA this Saturday.
